AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS

Dear authors,

First of all, I want to congratulate you on the acceptance of your paper. The scientific committee well acknowledged the high quality of this year’s papers.  
The next few sections provide relevant information regarding your communication at the symposium.

Scientific Program
The full scientific program can be consulted here.
Please review this to indentify your session. Poster presentations are scheduled in the Saturday morning session.

Oral presenters
Oral presentations are scheduled as 10 min presentation + 2 min discussion. The preferred format is MS Powerpoint. Please upload your presentation well in advance, at the latest during the break that is preceding your session. We also advice you to acquaint with the people that are chairing your session before it starts.

Poster presenters
Poster size should not exceed 95cm x 120cm. Posters can be displayed from the start of the symposium in the designated poster area.
There is a session for poster discussion on Saturday morning (9hr-11hr). Each poster will be introduced by the chairman in the main theatre. Afterwards, authors should be present at their display for questions and discussions. Each author should provide two slides to the chairman: one title slide and one key result slide with a figure or graph. Please mail these two slides before February 6th to both kristof.baete@uzleuven.be and Thierry.Gevaert@uzbrussel.be

Prize
The scientific jury will award two prizes, one for the best young medical physicist and one for the best paper. The best paper will be selected out of the top-5 ranked abstract texts. Eligible presentations are marked in the scientific program with *YMP* (best young physicist nominee) or *BPN* (best paper nominee).
